Raipur, 19 July 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. Khubchand Baghel, a freedom fighter and the first dreamer of Chhattisgarh state formation, through virtual medium at his residence office here today. On this occasion, he honored his family members and the successors of freedom fighters by presenting them shawls, shriphal and insignia.
These include Mrs. Sadhna Verma Bhilai, Dr. Pitilata Verma Kirna, Mrs. Sunita Bais Raipur, Mrs. Meenu Banchor Durg, Mr. Sheshnarayan Baghel Pathri, Mr. Chhatrapal Singh Sirmaur Bhilai and Mrs. Madhu Jha. Similarly, Dr. Tarun Nayak Durg, Ram Kumar Baghel, kant Baghel, Woodhdev Baghel, Deepak Baghel, Vishnu Baghel, Radheshyam Baghel, Jai Baghel and Lalit Baghel were honored. Apart from this, Mrs. Yogeshwari Baghel, Dr. Dushyant Verma, Mr. Rajesh Banchor, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Mr. Moti Baghel and Mrs. Chandrakanta Baghel were also honored.
On this occasion, Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat from the venue through virtual medium and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahu, Secretary of Culture Department Anbalgan P., Secretary to Chief Minister Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi. And Dr. Khubchand Baghel’s family members and successors of freedom fighters were present at the Chief Minister’s residence.
