Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the Guru Darshan Mela organized at Bhandarpuri Dham under Arang tehsil of Raipur district today as the chief guest. He first visited Guru Gaddi and took blessings for the prosperity of the people of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the program organized on the fair with the hail of Saint Shiromani Param Pujya Baba Guru Ghasidas in raining water, said that the coronation of Guru Balakdas ji took place on the day of Ekadashi. The tradition of Sant Samagam and Gurudarshan is being fulfilled since years in memory of the throne of Guru Balakdas, the son of Baba Gurughasi Das. 
The Chief Minister said that our state is a rice bowl and a state of farmers. The farmer works hard without worrying about cold, heat and rain. Our government is committed to give the farmers the reward of their hard work. He said that our government is going to give installments of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana and Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana on October 17.
He said that social harmony would be further strengthened by carrying forward the message of Guru Ghasidas Baba, Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Samal. The government is working continuously for the economic strength of all sections along with farmers, laborers. The farmers of the state are not getting the same price as in any other state of the country. The work done by Baba Ghasidas to stop cow slaughter cannot be forgotten. On this occasion, he announced construction of grand stage at Sant Samagam site and leveling of ground, Satnam Bhawan in the village, Rs 10 lakh per year for Gurudarshan Mela, completion of incomplete Gurudwara of Bhandarpuri and construction of road from Bhandarpuri to Gaitra. On this occasion a large number of people including saints of Satnami society, Raj Mahant, enlightened people, public representatives of panchayat and urban bodies were present.
    Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Dahria said that most of the promises made by the government have been fulfilled. In all fields including education, employment, economic empowerment etc., the work of advancing the people of the society and giving respect to the whole society is being done continuously by the government.
    Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that according to tradition, the saints are attending the samagam after having darshan of the Guru. Satnami society has been a pioneer. He said that the government makes special efforts to walk on the path of Satnam.
     Blessing the devotees who came to Gurdwara Bhandarpuri, Raja Guru Baldas Saheb said that Guru Amardas carried forward the tradition of Mankhe Mankhe Ekman, the Mankhe Mankhe Ekman of Guru Ghasidas Baba. Guru does not belong to any one but to the whole society. People need to be organized for the progress and development of the society. The more educated the people of the society, the more the society will progress.
