152 graduates, 55 postgraduates got degrees 

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended the 6th convocation ceremony of Hidayatullah National Law University, Nava Raipur today. The convocation ceremony held in the auditorium of Triple IT was presided over by Honorable Mr. Justice Aniruddha Bose, Judge of Supreme Court of India and Visitor of HNLU. On this occasion, Chancellor of HNLU and Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court Mr. Ramesh Sinha declared the convocation open. A book titled Write Nature and Sustainability and HNLU Journal of Law and Social Sciences were released in the programme. 

Two students Ms. Debmita Mandal and Ms. Shraddha Rajput were awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of HNLU along with 152 students who passed the Bachelor of Laws examination and 55 students who passed the Post Graduate Examination in the convocation ceremony. 36 gold medals were awarded to 13 UG and 3 PG students for their exceptional academic achievements in the event. These medals include Chancellor’s Gold Medal, University Gold Medal for Best Performing Girl Student, Chhattisgarh State Bar Council Gold Medal, Late Kamal Narayan Sharma Gold Medal, Late Smt. Shanti Devi Aggarwal Memorial Gold Medal, Shri Vidyadhar Mishra Memorial Gold Medal, Dinesh Prasad Srivastava Memorial Gold Medal, Late Shri Hamidullah Khan Ex-MLA Kabirdham Gold Medal, Late K. P. Munshi Gold Medal, Syed Vakil Ahmed Rizvi Gold Medal.

Former Judge of Supreme Court of India and former member of HNLU Executive Council Justice Shri M.R. Shah, Justice Shri Prashant Kumar Mishra of Supreme Court of India, Justice Shri Sam Koshi of Chhattisgarh High Court, Justice Shri Sanjay K Agarwal, Former Director of National Judicial Academy, Bhopal Justice Shri Goda Raghuram and many educationists, jurists, parents and students- Girls were present in large numbers.
