Raipur, 31 January 2021.  Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Devguri in Gamawada village of Dantewada district amidst natural beauty. He inaugurated the beautification and renovation works of the Devguri campus. The Chief Minister appreciated the traditionally painted paintings on the stones surrounding Devguri during his visit to the Devguri campus. He worshiped Anga Dev here and wished for the prosperity of the state. It is noteworthy that Devgudis are the major center of faith of villagers of Bastar region.

 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, after observing Deoguri, sat in the ground and dined with the singers, priests and servants of the society chiefs of Devguri. On this occasion, the members of the women self-help groups of Gamawada in the Satrangi formula of the well-being of the village by the district administration, anemia-free village, malaria-free village, well-fed village, dirty village, protection of cultural heritage, 100% institutional delivery, Performed through street plays on centenarian educated panchayat, rejuvenation of Devgudis of every village etc. Collection of forest produce from villagers present near Devguri Gamawada, Took information about the implementation of various government schemes including paddy purchase and encouraged them to take advantage of other schemes as well. Villagers also took photos and selfies with the Chief Minister. It is noteworthy that Devgudis are being developed in 143 villages of Dantewada district at a cost of Rs 13.5 million.

 

The Chief Minister Mr. Baghel and distinguished guests planted the selfie plant at Gamavada Devgudi campus. On this occasion, Industries Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma, Revenue and District In-charge Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Lok Sabha MP Mr. Deepak Badge, Bastar Development Authority Vice President Vikram Mandavi, Chairman of Handicrafts Development Board Mr. Chandan Kashyap, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Rekhachand Jain, MLA Mrs. Deoti Karma, MLA Chitrakote Rajman Benzam CREDA Chairman Mr. Mithlesh Swarnakar, Commissioner Mr. G.R. Churendra, IG Shri Sundararaj P., Collector Shri Deepak Soni, Superintendent of Police Dr. Abhishek Pallava and local public representatives and other officials were present.
