Chief Minister directs the Inspector General of Bastar Police to investigate the investigation report and take action
Raipur, 10 October 2020. A high-level inquiry team constituted by the state government met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today to investigate the facts related to the incident with Kanker journalists at his residence office here and submitted his report. The Chief Minister has sent the inquiry report to the Inspector General of Police of Bastar and directed it to take necessary action after examining it.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the High Level Investigation Team of Journalists, Mr. Rajesh Joshi, Editor Navbharat Raipur as well as Member of the Investigation Team Mr. Anil Dwivedi, Editor Today’s Janadhara Raipur, Mr. Suresh Mahapatra Editor Bastar Impact Dantewada, Ms. Shagufta Shereen Assistant Editor, National Hindi Mail and Shri Rupesh Gupta correspondent Swarajya Express Raipur were present. The investigation report submitted to the Chief Minister includes a 16-page original report and 450-page other documents.
