Votes will be cast for the assembly general elections on 7th November and 17th November, counting of votes will take place on 3rd December.

Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh, Mrs. Reena Babasaheb Kangale addressed a press conference at the Chief Electoral Officer office today. In the press conference, he gave information about the program issued by the Election Commission of India for the upcoming assembly general elections in the state-2023. He said that voting will be held in two phases in the state on November 7 and November 17. In the first phase, voting will be held in 20 assembly constituencies of the state and in the second phase, voting will be held in 70 assembly constituencies. Counting of votes will be done on December 3. Mrs. Kangale said that with the announcement of the election programme, the Model Code of Conduct has become effective in the entire state. Joint Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Nileshkumar Mahadev Kshirsagar and Mr. Bipin Majhi and senior officials of the Chief Electoral Officer’s office were also present in the press conference.
