The members of Chhattisgarh PD Panthi Parivar, a youth panthi dance troupe, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here this evening. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was told by the members of Panthi Dancer Team that on the occasion of Republic Day this year, they displayed their art on the path of duty in the country’s capital New Delhi. He has been performing panthi dance for the last 13 years. This year, in the last phase of ‘Vande Bharatam Dance Festival-2023’, he performed Panthi dance of Chhattisgarh along with folk dance artists from all the states of the country on the path of duty, which was highly appreciated there.
Young Panthi artists told Chief Minister Mr. Baghel that they want to take Guru Baba Ghasidas’ message ‘Mankhe Mankhe Ek Saman’ to the country and abroad through panthi dance. At present he has presented panthi dance in many states and has also won awards at all India level. The Chief Minister encouraged and congratulated the artists of Yuva Panthi Dance Team and congratulated them. The Chief Minister encouraged them to raise the name of Chhattisgarh by practicing the art of the mesmerizing folk dance panthi of the state with full dedication and dedication. On this occasion, Panthi dancers included Mr. Poondas Joshi, Mr. Manoj Dewangan, Mr. Manoj Keskar, Mr. Falen Bhaskar, Mr. Pitambar Jangde, Ms. Alka Singh, Ms. Vishala Singh, Ms. Annu Chandravanshi, Ms. Monika Mahilange, Mr. Heera Banjare, Mr. Mahesh Dahire. Mr. Somesh Kurre and Ms. Uttara Sahu were involved.
