Now every mobile will become electricity office through app

    Raipur, 06 October 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated new features of “More Electricity App” of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company at his residence office here today. He said that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country, where the Peer Bijli mobile app has been launched by the Electricity Distribution Company to provide the consumers with home based benefits of electricity services. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel appreciated this effort of CSPDCL for this. He said that consumers will get a lot of convenience from this. Power consumers can avail more than 90 percent of the services of the electricity distribution company at home through this app. This app will also prove to be helpful for any power related problem.  
    The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel further said that now consumers will not have to visit the power office. This will save labor, time and money. Congratulating and wishing the officers of the Electricity Distribution Company, he said that through this app the field team of the power company will be able to work. The Chief Minister said on the occasion that the latest technology is being promoted by the power company to improve power generation, transmission and distribution. A perfect example of this is the “Peacock Lightning App”. To take advantage of this free feature, consumers should download it on their mobile. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Additional Secretary to Chief Minister and Chairman of Power Companies, Mr. Subrata Sahu, M.D. Sarvashri Harsh Gautam, Rajesh Verma, MK Bijora, Smt. Ujjwala Baghel and other officials were present.
    At the program, Chairman of Power Companies, Shri Subrata Sahu said that for the first time many schemes and facilities have been launched to advance the people towards energy-based progress. In which the electricity scheme at half rate and more electricity app has brought great relief to consumers. Chhattisgarh will remain a stronghold of power development in future also. For this, the power infrastructure in the state is being expanded rapidly. He said that Chhattisgarh continues to be the leader in power generation cases even during the Corona virus infection and is completing the concept of “electricity to all, cheap prices – relief to all, work to all”.
    They told that this app can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store. Through this app, people can settle more than 16 types of electrical related works at any time at any time. The new feature included in this app “Emergency Complaint” will prove to be important for the safety of consumers in case of electrical accident. Somewhere by taking a photo of a broken electrical wire or other damaged electrical system, pressing the upload button of the then-current complaint, an SMS will inform the concerned Regional Office official of the location and the power cable or damaged equipment will be repaired. The complainant will also get information about this. Apart from this, the work of meter, name change, shifting, new connection, load increase, tariff change, bill payment, exemption from electricity bill half scheme, calculation of electricity bill etc. can be done sitting at home.

    Through the peacock electricity app, every consumer’s mobile power office will be built. Through this, the electrician can reach the consumer’s premises with the help of Google Map on the complaint of power off. GPRS location information is received on making electric emergency complaint from this app and the correction team arrives soon at the site to stop the electrical accident and stop the emergency complaint. Meter shifting, name change, low power connection, Such tasks are completed with this app without having to go to the power office to increase the load. Consumers can see the bill of 04 electrical connections including themselves on their mobile through this app. Bill can be paid online. Consumers can also get information about units of electricity consumed in the last two years and its payment. On the possibility of disturbing the electricity bill, consumers can calculate the correct electricity bill by looking at the current rate of electricity from this app. To improve meter reading disturbances, consumers can easily improve by taking pictures of meter readings and sending them to the power office.
