DGP met with one thousand soldiers in camps of remote Naxalite affected areas

Raipur 12 November 2020. In an innovative initiative, Director General of Police DM Awasthi today spoke to virtual personnel posted in camps located in all districts of Bastar. He said that the soldiers will be awarded the Citation of Chhattisgarh Warrior from Police Headquarters for the extraordinary work deployed on the Naxalite front. The DGP said that the bravery and courage of the soldiers have no value. The soldiers posted on the Naxal front get out-of-turn promotions and other honors for notable work, but there are many soldiers who do not get this honor. In such a situation, the soldiers who display exceptional bravery from the Police Headquarters will be honored by giving a citation. Police personnel every day, Fight every moment. All are stationed on the Naxal front away from their families on the festival of Diwali. He said that after Deepawali, I will come to every camp and meet everyone and every problem will be solved immediately.
This is the first time that about a thousand soldiers from Naxal-affected areas located in remote Vananchal spoke to the DGP. Before Diwali, there was tremendous enthusiasm among the jawans when they met their head and immediately the problems were resolved. Virtual meeting in Phulbagari camp of Sukma, Palanar camp of Dantewada, Police line, Gudma camp of Bijapur, Tiria camp of Bastar, Bastanar camp, Mardapal camp of Kondagaon, Argur camp of Kanker, SP office of Narayanpur and Manpur police station of Rajnandgaon, Gatapar The soldiers spoke to the police station. On this occasion, Mr. Awasthi saluted the sacrifices and duty of the soldiers posted in the Naxalite affected areas and said that women commandos are also doing remarkable work on the Naxal front. Before the DGP, the soldiers placed accommodation, transfers, advance funds and other demands, which were immediately resolved.
