Health Minister Shri Singh Deo gave detailed information about the arrangements made in the state for prevention of Corona virus infection in the video conference. He informed that treatment is being arranged in 5,666 beds in different hospitals across the state. There are 622 ventilators in ICU and semi-ICU as well as hospitals. Additionally 300 child-ventilators are also available. The state has a stock of eight lakh 20 thousand tablets of hydroxychloroquine. He informed that private hospitals have also been identified for acquisition if needed. Instructions have also been given to identify hostels with attached restrooms with rooms for expansion of isolation facility in case of emergency.

Mr. Singhdev told the Union Health Minister that pool testing and R.D. More and more suspects are being investigated through kit surveillance. So far, samples of a total of ten thousand 346 potential persons have been collected and investigated. Of these, 9,206 samples have been reported negative while 1104 samples are under investigation. The Health Minister urged to provide the ICMR approved price of the machines required to update the state laboratories for the investigation of Kovid-19. With this, the state government will be able to upgrade the lab by purchasing necessary machines. Secretary of the Health Department, Mrs. Niharika Barik Singh and Commissioner Mr. Bhuvanesh Yadav also attended the video conference.
