Chhattisgarh was honored with the Bhoomi Samman at the hands of President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu in a program organized at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today. Along with this, two districts of the state, Sarguja and Bemetara, have also been awarded Bhoomi Samman Platinum Certificate for land management and administration. The state and two districts have received this award for better implementation of the existing four components of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Program (DILRMP). 

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that it is a matter of pride for the entire Chhattisgarh that the state has been honored for land management. He has congratulated and congratulated the revenue department of the state and Surguja and Bemetara district administration for this achievement. The Chief Minister said that better work has been done in the state under the DILRMP. Land related information is becoming easily available to the common people. The information related to the land is available online and work has been done to systematically maintain important documents that are years old.

Received respect Similarly, Bhoomi Samman Platinum Certificate was also awarded to Bemetara Collector Mr. PS Elma and Surguja Collector Mr. Kundan Kumar for the digitization and management of land records at the district level. 

It may be noted that under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Program (DILRMP), 95 percent works related to land management have been completed in the state. Similarly, digitization of land records, coordination of registration office with tehsil office, modern record room and survey-reserve work of four components related to land management have been completed 100 percent in Sarguja and Bemetara districts of the state. These districts are among the top districts in the country in land management. Works are being completed fast in other districts of the state as well.

People are getting direct benefit of digitization of land records 

With the digitization of all land related records, people are getting real-time information related to their land. This information can be viewed from mobile from anywhere and at any time through internet. With the digitization of land records and its management, land related information is now easily accessible to the people. People do not have to visit government offices to get land related records. 

There has also been a reduction in the cases of fraud related to land due to people getting all the records easily. There has also been a reduction in the number of cases in the land related courts. With the computerization of land records, documents have been easily available for such certificates which require information about land records. With this, people are easily getting income, caste, residence certificates. The purpose of this whole system is also to ensure the right of record (right to record) to the citizen.
