Raipur: Chhattisgarh ranks second in the country in terms of vaccination of health workers

Raipur, 2 May 2021. Health workers, frontline workers and people above 45 years of age are being vaccinated to deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic, while the first phase of Antyodaya family in the 18 years and above 18 years of age vaccination should be started has gone.

According to the presentation and media briefing given by the Government of India officials, Chhattisgarh is second in the country in terms of vaccination of health workers, while Chhattisgarh is the first country to give first dose of Kovid-19 vaccine to people above 45 years of age. I am at number four. Similarly, Chhattisgarh is at number six in the country in terms of vaccination of frontline workers.

According to information received from the Health Department, till 30 April 2021 – 3 lakh (88 percent) health workers were given the first dose and 2.09 lakh (62 percent) health workers were given the second dose in Chhattisgarh. Similarly, 2.76 lakh (94 percent) front-line worker was given the first dose and 1.65 lakh (56 percent) front-line worker was given the second dose. Under Kovid vaccination, the first dose was given to 42.76 lakh (73 percent) citizens over 45 years and the second dose to 3.43 lakh (6 percent) citizens.

Chhattisgarh State has the second best performance in the whole country in terms of immunization of health workers with 97.73 percent. At present, vaccination is being done in a total of 4894 session sites registered in the state of Chhattisgarh and 6823 trained vaccinators are available in the state. Maximum of 3.26 lakh persons were vaccinated on 2 April 2021 and 2.92 lakh persons were vaccinated on 3 April 2021.
