Raipur, 17 March 2021. The ongoing Khadi and Village Industries Exhibition at Mungeli Naka Ground, Bilaspur by Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board, remains the center of attraction for the people of Nyadhani. Various types of Khadi and Village Industries are being sold in 70 to 75 stalls at the fair with heavy discounts. The fair is being well appreciated by the people of Bilaspur. Various types of Khadi textiles, Kosse garments, Banarasi saris and handmade jute bags, wooden toys, daily use items and household furnishings are the main attraction of the fair. A rebate of up to 30 percent is being given for the purchase of Khadi garments and a rebate of 10 percent on the purchase of village industry products.
It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarhi traditional folk art is being seen in different cultural programs in the fair every evening in the evening with the cooperation of the Department of Culture. People coming here are enjoying traditional folk arts along with shopping. Under the guidance of Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board President Rajendra Tiwari and Managing Director Shri Rajesh Singh Rana, District Officer Shri Pankaj Agrawal, Rohani Prasad Gautam and Khadi Board employees are making a tremendous contribution in making Mele successful.
