Amleshwar and Nisda Health and Wellness Center became the first NQAS certified sub-health centers in the state.
Union Health Ministry issued NQAS certification
57 government hospitals of the state have so far received the National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate

Chhattisgarh has become the fourth state in the country to get NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standard) certification at sub health center level. Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued NQAS certificate after inspection and evaluation of Amleshwar in Durg district and Nisda Health and Wellness Center sub health center in Raipur district. So far 57 government hospitals of the state have been awarded the National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate.
In the evaluation of services by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Amleshwar Health and Wellness Center sub-health center has got 94 percent marks and Nisda has got 93 percent marks. Both the health centers were assessed by the central team in July this year. National Quality Assurance Standard Certification of Health and Wellness Center Sub Health Centers is done on the basis of 12 standards. For this, the organization evaluates the quality of parameters such as service delivery, patient satisfaction, clinical services, inputs, infection control, support services, quality management, outputs. Only those hospitals which pass the evaluation are issued quality certificates by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate to total 57 hospitals of the state
A total of 57 hospitals in the state have received the National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate. These include ten district hospitals, seven community health centres, 26 primary health centres, 12 urban primary health centers and two sub health centres. The objective of the National Quality Assurance Standard Certification is to strengthen the facilities of the hospitals and provide quality health care to the general public.
