Chhattisgarh is a model of social justice in the country: Chief Minister Mr. Baghel

Chhattisgarh has today become the biggest model of social justice in the country. We have made plans for the upliftment of all sections of the state. Has worked to provide economic support to farmers, tribals, workers, women and youth. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel was addressing the “State of the State Chhattisgarh First” program organized by India Today at a private hotel in the capital Raipur today.

    Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that 40 lakh people in the state have come out of the poverty line because the hardworking people are getting money as per their hard work and they are happily participating spontaneously in shaping and taking the state forward. He said that today the scope of Naxalites has limited. We have taken a big initiative to open closed schools in Bastar region, due to which the future of the future generations has been secured. We have provided a favorable environment for industry and business and are working on creating infrastructure for this. Industries have been given full support for basic needs like electricity, water, roads. Today, women and youth from Gauthan and Ripa are becoming economically empowered by joining the employment chain.

   Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is one such state in the country where we worked to strengthen the farmers economically by purchasing paddy from the farmers at the highest price. There is 44 percent forest area in the state. Earlier only 7 types of forest produce were purchased. Now we are purchasing 67 types of forest produce at support prices. Tendu leaves per standard bag increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 4000. He said that the land acquired from the tribals in Lohandiguda was returned. Forest rights lease, forest resource rights, Implemented PESA law. Better work has been done in the field of health. Chief Minister implemented Suposhan Abhiyan to remove malnutrition. Earlier in forest areas, people used to lose their lives even due to minor diseases. In such a situation, Haat-Bazaar Clinic Scheme was started to provide health facilities to the villagers of remote forest areas. More than one crore people have taken benefit of the Haat Bazaar Clinic system.

    On this occasion, MLA Shri Kuldeep Juneja, Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Pradeep Sharma, Shri Vinod Verma, Shri Ruchir Garg, India Today Group Editor Shri Raj Chinnappa, News Editor Rahul Kanwal, State Head Shri Manish Mishra, Anchor Saeed Ansari including public representatives and dignitaries. Citizens were present in large numbers.
