Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated and inaugurated various development projects worth more than 7600 at a function organized at Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya, NCC Ground in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh today.

    Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is a budding state, so Chhattisgarh should get maximum help from the Centre. Welcoming Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he said that it is a matter of great pleasure for us that our Prime Minister has come on a visit to Chhattisgarh. I welcome Lord Shriram to his maternal grandfather and the land of mother Kaushalya. We meet the Prime Minister in many fora and in the meetings of NITI Aayog etc. We also make demands but do not want to repeat them any more. I also sit with Gadkari ji, he gives more than what he asks for.
Earlier, the Chief Minister received the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on his arrival at the helipad and welcomed him on the stage of the ceremony by wearing the state gamcha and presenting him with products made of millets.

On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Smt. Renuka Singh, Chhattisgarh Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Shri Narayan Chandel, Lok Sabha MPs Shri Arun Saw and Shri Sunil Soni, MLA Dr. Raman Singh and many public representatives were present.

In the ceremony, Prime Minister Shri Modi inaugurated, laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 10 projects worth about Rs 7600 crore. Of these, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of five projects related to National Highways worth about Rs 6,400 crore. In the two projects that were inaugurated, 33 km of Raipur-Kodebod section of Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway constructed at a cost of Rs 988 crore. Long 4-laning road and 4-laning of 53 km long Bilaspur-Pathrapali section of NH-130 constructed at a cost of Rs 1261 crores to Bilaspur-Ambikapur section.

Prime Minister Shri Modi laid the foundation stone of three National Highway projects for the Chhattisgarh section of the 6-laning greenfield Raipur-Vishakhapatnam corridor. Among these – 43 km long six-lane Jhanki-Sargi section of NH-130 CD to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1368 crore, 57 km long six-lane Sargi-Basanwahi section of NH-130 CD to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1471 crore and NH Includes development of 25 km long six-laning Basanwahi-Marangpuri section on CD-130 to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1307 crore. The 2.8 km long 6-lane tunnel is a major component of this – 27 passageways and 17 monkey shelters will also be constructed for easy movement of wildlife in the Udanti Wildlife Sanctuary area.
Similarly, the doubling of 103 km long Raipur-Khariar road rail line built at a cost of Rs 750 crore, the 17 km long new railway line connecting Keoti-Antagarh, developed at a cost of Rs 290 crore, was inaugurated and flagged off by the Prime Minister. Showing off the new train from Antagarh to Raipur. The Prime Minister inaugurated the 1700 cylinder daily capacity LPG bottling plant of Indian Oil Corporation at Korba built at a cost of more than Rs 130 crore and inaugurated the distribution of 75 lakh cards to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat.
