Chief Minister participated in the CGMP Neurocon 2023 program
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that the position of Chhattisgarh state in the map of India is such that there are immense possibilities of becoming a big medical hub here. The geographical location and environment here are health friendly. He was addressing the 21st CGMP Neurocon 2023 program organized at a private hotel in capital Raipur this evening. On this occasion, he also released the book ‘Brain Death, Organ Donation and Transplantation’ written by the senior neurosurgeon.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said in the program that in the last five years, we have succeeded in establishing a big medical network in Chhattisgarh. Government and private sector medical institutions here have achieved this feat with amazing coordination and talent. State-of-the-art facilities have been made available in the field of neuro-medicine in the state and the patients of Chhattisgarh are continuously getting the benefit of specialist doctors. He said that 5 years back Chhattisgarh was in such a situation that people used to die due to malaria, we have been successful in making Malaria-free Chhattisgarh. Today, the Haat-Bazar Clinic scheme has brought a big change in the health sector and the scope of health facilities has increased to remote areas. I take pride in saying that today we have a strong infrastructure in the field of medicine.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Naxalites are no longer talked about in Chhattisgarh, but talks are held about agriculture, culture, social upliftment and new Chhattisgarh, which has created a new identity for the state.
