Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday transferred Rs 23 crore 93 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Residence Office to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in the online fund distribution program under Godhan Nyaya Yojana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that this year the rains are getting good and the production is also expected to be good. Our government has made a record of purchasing paddy every year. This year we hope that 125 lakh metric paddy will be purchased. The Chief Minister said that this time also the Central Government has reduced the quota of purchasing rice from Chhattisgarh and has also reduced the quota of our gunny bags. I have written a letter to the Central Government requesting in this regard.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that by purchasing cow urine at the rate of four rupees per liter in Gauthans, the women of women self-help groups are preparing Brahmastra and Jeevamrit from it, which is being made available to the farmers at concessional rates. Farmers have now started using organic pesticides Brahmastra and Jeevamrit instead of expensive pesticides.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel transferred an amount of Rs 23 crore 93 lakh online to the accounts of the beneficiaries of Godhan Nyaya Yojana by pressing the button in the program. In which dividend amount of Rs 5.36 crore to cow dung sellers, Rs 1.63 crore to Gauthan committees and Rs 1.14 crore to self-help groups, along with additional incentive amount of Rs 12.32 crore to self-help groups and Rs 1.23 crore to cooperative societies and self-reliant This includes an honorarium of Rs 2.25 crore to the chairman and members of Gauthan committees. After payment of Rs 29 crore 93 lakh to the beneficiaries under Godhan Nyay Yojana on Saturday, a total of Rs 581.24 crore has been paid so far.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday made online payment of Rs 5.36 crore to cow dung sellers in lieu of 2.68 lakh quintals of cow dung purchased from August 15 to August 31 in Gauthans. So far, 133.22 quintals of cow dung has been purchased in Gauthans, in return for which Rs 261.08 crore has been paid to animal husbandry farmers. After payment of Rs 5.36 crore on September 9, the total amount of cow dung purchase has reached Rs 266.44 crore. After the amount of Rs 2.77 crore to be paid to Gauthan committees and women self-help groups on September 09, the amount to be paid to them has increased to Rs 275.01 crore.

    On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel announced a total of Rs 12 crore 32 lakh on the sale of compost to the self-help groups involved in the production of compost from cow dung at the rate of Re 1 per kilogram and a total of Rs 1 crore to the cooperative societies at the rate of 10 paise per kg. Rs. 23 lakh crore released online as incentive amount. The Chief Minister transferred Rs 2 crore 25 lakh as honorarium to the bank accounts of 42 thousand 644 members of self-reliant Gauthans.

It is noteworthy that under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, the participation of self-reliant Gauthan committees in the matter of cow dung procurement is continuously increasing. Out of 10288 Gauthans constructed and operated in the state, 6252 Gauthans have become self-reliant, and are purchasing cowdung from cowdung sellers with their own funds. Self-reliant Gauthans have so far purchased cow dung worth Rs 76 crore 42 lakh with their own money.
