Free treatment being done by Sian Jatan Clinic Scheme

The Chhattisgarh government takes great care of its elders, Sian Jatan Clinic scheme has been started to provide them good health facilities. For this, the Health Department is organizing ‘Sian Jatan Clinic’ on the first Thursday of every month. The elderly above 60 years of age are being examined and treated free of cost in these hospitals. This initiative has been taken with an aim to provide better treatment and health services to the elderly. Through this, special OPD and Panchakarma services are being provided to the elderly people suffering from physical and mental problems in old age in Ayurvedic hospitals of the state. All these hospitals have a team of specialist doctors to handle the patients.
Sian Jatan Clinic has been started from the month of May in 36 Ayurvedic Hospitals and Health Centers of Mahasamund district, where free health check-up and treatment is being done to citizens above 60 years of age. AYUSH practitioners are doing the work of telling people how to stay healthy by connecting with nature. Under this, from medicine to all other methods are related to natural parameters. People are getting good results from this.
Doctor SL Patel, who is looking after the work of AYUSH, said that in the last two months, 4190 elderly people got its benefit. In the month of May 1432 and in the month of June, 2758 elderly people were treated in the camps. Along with this, free registration, general health test, nature test and therapy were done for patients above 60 years of age. These test camps include memory loss, hearing loss, eye diseases, joint pain, paralysis, diabetes, high blood pressure and physical impairment. In the Sian Jatan Clinic of the hospital, summer drink mixes, panak, dashmool decoction, guduchyadi decoction, rasayana medicine etc. were provided to the beneficiaries. Apart from this, the consultation of experts of Ayurveda and Allopathy is available to the people at one place. He said that detailed details of the elderly people who came for treatment at Sian Jatan Clinic are also being kept. not only this, Follow-up of these patients will also be done if needed in future. Work is being done at many levels to ensure that the health of the citizens is better and they do not have to face any kind of problems. The responsibility of which has been given to the Department of AYUSH.
