Shri Charku Ram, a farmer from Bundeli in Koriya district, now lives a happy and stress-free life. Like the Chhattisgarh government has taken away all their worries. For the last three years, they are getting good price for their produce. The government is buying their paddy at a good price. Along with this, additional amount is also being received in four installments from Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The government’s decision to waive the loan had removed their major concerns. His loan of one lakh rupees was waived.
Thanking Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and loan waiver, who reached Paradol in Manendragarh Vidhan Sabha today for a meeting, Shri Charku Ram told that last year he had sold 156 quintals of paddy. He got three lakh rupees from the purchase of paddy by the government on the support price. Later, Rs 93 thousand more was received in four installments from the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He bought a tractor with this money to further his farming. Shri Charku Ram, who earlier used to cultivate his 11 acres of land on rented tractor, is now cultivating with his own tractor. Along with his son, he has also learned to drive a tractor.
Shri Charku Ram told the Chief Minister that this year he has sold 152 quintals of paddy from which he has got Rs. 2 lakh 95 thousand. 23 thousand rupees have also been received for the first installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. According to his dream with paddy money, he has married his daughter this year with pomp in a good house. Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister, Shri Charku Ram said that I am very happy with the benefits received from your schemes. Many thanks to you for bringing happiness and happiness in the lives of us farmers. My agricultural loan of one lakh rupees has also been waived due to which I am living a stress free life today.
