Rs 5185.83 lakh sanctioned for 2763 Devguri in four years
To promote tribal culture, the amount of Devguri has been increased from one lakh to five lakhs.

Tribal culture has its own unique identity. They are known by their spoken language, culture, tradition and customs. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has fulfilled his long-standing demand by giving the benefit of government holiday from August 9, 2022, on World Tribal Day. So that they can celebrate their customs and festivals with enthusiasm, Chhattisgarh government is doing many things for their development. In order to promote the tribal culture, under the tribal cultural testing and development scheme, the construction repair scheme of Devgudi is being implemented at the places of worship and reverence of tribals in tribal-dominated areas. Devguri Thakurdev and cultural center Ghotul construction in the last four and a half years, The amount to be provided under the repair scheme has been increased significantly. The amount per Devgudi was increased from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per Devgudi. The amount has increased 5 times as per the plan. Along with this, special efforts are being made to preserve the Ghotul tradition prevalent in the Abujhmadia tribal communities.
The Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 5185.83 lakh for 2763 Devgudis in the last four years. Along with this, an amount of Rs.470.00 lakh has been approved for the construction of 104 ghotuls in Narayanpur district of Bastar division for the development and upliftment of Abujhmadiya culture. Chief Minister Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started to promote tribal festivals. In the financial year 2023-24, under the Mukhyamantri Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana, development of traditional culture of Teej, Sarna, Devguri, Navkhai, Chherchera, Akti, Hareli festivals, festivals, fairs, Madai Jatra etc. among tribals and to transfer them to the next generation. The scheme has been started for Funds are being made available to each gram panchayat of the scheduled area.
Under the Mukhyamantri Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana, there is a provision to give Rs 10,000 to each gram panchayat. A provision of Rs 5 lakh has been made for the implementation of the scheme in the financial year 2023-24. In the year 2023-24, according to the financial rules, the amount of the first installment was transferred to 5633 gram panchayats through DBT directly in their account amounting to 5 thousand 281.85 lakhs.
