Our government is committed to the overall development of the disabled – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the ceremony of taking over charge and felicitation of the newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh Disabled Finance and Development Corporation at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium located in the Medical College of the capital Raipur. He congratulated and wished the newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh Disabled Finance and Development Corporation, Shri Lokesh Kavadia, for the new responsibility. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced to change the name of Chhattisgarh Disabled Finance and Development Corporation to Chhattisgarh Disabled People Finance and Development Corporation. Also, on this occasion, loans were given to 15 disabled beneficiaries, interest subsidy on loan repayment to 11 disabled beneficiaries and hearing aids were provided to a hearing impaired disabled person from the main stage.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is committed to the overall development of the disabled. Special efforts are being made by the Government of Chhattisgarh to improve the living standards of the disabled. He said that we should survey the disabled children and help them by providing loans for their business and new startups, so that there can be a positive improvement in their living standards.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that we should make every possible effort to bring prosperity in the lives of the disabled. He said that when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji came to Dantewada district during his stay in Chhattisgarh, his special affection towards the disabled was seen. Today our government has given this responsibility to a very experienced social worker, which will directly benefit the disabled people.
Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade said that our government is emphasizing on making the disabled economically capable and their skill development on the basis of the resolution of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. On this occasion, she congratulated and wished Lokesh Kavadiya for his new responsibility.
In the oath taking ceremony, a very attractive song was sung by the students of Government Divyang School Mana, which charmed everyone. Along with this, a patriotic dance was also performed by the hearing impaired students of Rajnandgaon Divyang School.
On this occasion, Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Mr. Tank Ram Verma, MLA Mr. Rajesh Munat, Mr. Motilal Sahu, Mr. Purandar Mishra, Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Mrs. Meenal Chaubey, chairpersons of various divisional commissions, officers and employees of Chhattisgarh Disabled Finance and Development Corporation and a large number of disabled students were present.
