A delegation of Chhattisgarh Cooperative Society Employees Union Raipur met Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike at Raj Bhavan today and apprised her about the problems of cooperatives. The delegation told that the societies are suffering a lot due to natural calamity and other reasons and due to non-uptake of paddy on time. After 2007-08, there has been no increase in the incidental expenditure and security store expenditure given to the committees. Due to which the committees have to face financial difficulties. Also talked about providing commission for the works being done by the committees under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. In this regard, the Governor assured to cooperate as much as possible after getting information about the situation from the officials.
