Raipur: Chhattisgarh continues to be one of the least unemployed states.

The state’s unemployment rate was only 0.4 percent in the month of August. In the 


same period, the country’s unemployment rate was 8.3 percent 

Chhattisgarh has been ranked high among the states with the lowest unemployment rate for the past several months. In Chhattisgarh, in three and a half years, there is an effect of schemes to balance the urban-rural economy and create new employment opportunities. As a result of the work being done under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, the state is getting the distinction of having the lowest unemployment rate. The unemployment rate of Chhattisgarh in August 2022 is 0.4 percent. Whereas the unemployment rate in the country is 8.3 percent. Chhattisgarh’s unemployment rate stood at 0.8 percent in July. The unemployment rate in Chhattisgarh was the lowest at 0.7 percent in the month of May and 0.6 percent in the month of March-April. 
According to the new data released by CMIE, the unemployment rate in August was 12.8 percent in Bihar, 13.7 percent in Goa, 2.6 percent in Gujarat, 37.3 percent in Haryana, 7.3 percent in Himachal Pradesh, 32.8 percent in Jammu and Kashmir, 3.5 percent in Karnataka. And in Madhya Pradesh 2.6 percent has been registered. 
As soon as the government was formed in Chhattisgarh under Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, many works were done to strengthen the economy. Emphasis was laid on such schemes and implementation was done so that new employment opportunities would be created. With the formation of the government, schemes like loan waiver and increase in support price were started. After this, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Suraji Gaon Yojana, Narva-Garva-Ghurva-Bari Programme, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Farmer Nyay Yojana, formulation of new industrial policy, better system of collection of forest and agricultural produce, produce Processing and value addition at the local level, establishment of rural industrial parks, increase in the collection rate of minor forest produce and purchase of 65 types of minor forest produce at support price, increase in the remuneration rate of tendu leaf collection, fish farming and lac production. Promotion of traditional craftsmen, weavers and entrepreneurs,
Regular teachers will be recruited in schools. Along with the expansion of Atmanand School, English medium college is also being started. Expanding the Godhan Nyay scheme, purchase of cow urine has been started. Fertilizers and pesticides will also be made from the purchased cow urine, which will create new employment opportunities. Village-built Gauthans are also being upgraded into Rural Industrial Parks, where processing units like oil mill, pulse mill, mini rice mill are being set up
