There will be discussion on the issue of easy voting for disabled voters.

Working on the principle of “No Voter Left Out”, the Election Commission of India is committed to making the voting process accessible for every section of the society, especially voters with disabilities. In this series, a state level seminar will be organized on 30 October 2023 at 12 noon at the Red Cross Bhawan located in Raipur Collectorate complex to connect the disabled voters with the election process during the Chhattisgarh Assembly General Election-2023.
Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. Reena Baba Saheb Kangale said that the suggestions of disabled voters will be discussed in the state level seminar. There will be discussion regarding various problems faced by disabled voters and their solutions. Major suggestions given by organizations working for the upliftment of disabled people will also be discussed. He said that in the seminar, along with the special facilities being provided to the disabled voters at the polling stations on the polling day, innovations/exemplary works to be done in the districts for easy voting will also be discussed.
