Health and Family Welfare Department issued order

For the Assembly Elections-2023, government officers and employees employed in election work will be provided free medical facilities in all the government hospitals of the state. According to the order issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department, if necessary health facilities are not available in the government hospitals of the state or in case of emergency, the officers and employees will be able to get their treatment in 4 private hospitals in the capital Raipur and 2 outside the state.
It is noteworthy that with the aim of successfully conducting the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023, officers and employees of various departments have been put on duty on the instructions of the Commission. Free medical facilities will be provided in all the government hospitals of the state for the officers and employees assigned for election work.
Hospitals in the state and outside the state have also been identified to provide free medical facilities in case of non-availability of necessary facilities in government hospitals or in case of emergency. Within the state, treatment facilities will be available at Shri Balaji Hospital Mova located in the capital Raipur, Shri Narayana Hospital Devendra Nagar Raipur, Ramakrishna Care Hospital Pachpedi Naka Raipur and NHMMI Hospital Pachpedi Naka Raipur. Similarly, outside the state, treatment facilities will be available at Care Hospital in Hyderabad and Apollo Hospital in Visakhapatnam. It has been mentioned in the order that in case the treatment facilities for government officers-employees and non-government officers-employees and security forces and staff involved in election work are not available in the government hospitals of the district, the State Nodal Agency through the District Administration, the Prime Minister Referrals will be made to these hospitals by Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, Directorate of Health Services. In this regard, the work will be done by the district administration in coordination with Dr. Khemraj Sonwani, Deputy Director, State Nodal Agency (Mob. No. 98278-72102, 0771-4026201).
