Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while reacting to the budget for the financial year 2023-24 presented by the Central Modi government in the Parliament today, said that it can be called Nirmala ji’s ruthless budget, neither there is any facility for the youth, nor There is talk of doubling the income of farmers, there is nothing for women, nor for Scheduled Tribes, nor for Scheduled Castes. This budget is a budget prepared keeping in view the elections only. One thing is surprising in this, Rs 2 lakh 35 thousand crore has been kept in the budget for the railways. Is it for the employees, or for the new recruits, or is it not like hundreds of thousands of crores were put in for renovation before selling the airports and then sold in private hands. The central government does not have the same kind of thinking. First be glazed, then sold in private hands.
The Chief Minister said that for Chhattisgarh also we were hoping that a train running from Ambikapur would be available, arrangements would be made for Jagdalpur as well. But no arrangement took place. There is no system to reduce inflation and unemployment. There is nothing in how new people will get employment. All food items have become expensive. In the budget, talk of Mr. Anna, Kodo-Kutki, Sawa was talked about, but its MSP has not been announced till date by the Government of India and no talk has been said for the farmers to buy it at the support price. This budget is disappointing.
