Raipur, 28 November 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel today chaired the Cabinet Meeting at his residence office. In this Cabinet meeting, held on the occasion of Chhattisgarhi Rajbhasha Diwas, all the cabinet members shared their views on all the proposals in Chhattisgarh language. At the onset, Chief Secretary started the meeting with his address in Chhattisgarhi language.Following important decisions were taken in the meeting:-
Cabinet has decided to open industrial training institutes to complete the practical training of the trainees appearing in the final examination of ITI so that the final year trainees of ITI can appear in the All India Vocational Examination (NCVT).
Organic fertilizers produced by Government organizations/Gothans under Agriculture Department’s Godhan Nyay Yojana can be directly procured by other departments of State Government. AGriculture Department would be revising the procurement rate of organic fertilizers from time to time. No tender would be required for this purpose. It was approved to amend the said intention in the Chhattisgarh Government Stores Purchase Rules 2020.
Cabinet has approved amendment in the canceled land restoration and other relevant provisions of Chhattisgarh Industrial Land and Management Rules 2015.
Cabinet has approved establishment of central processing unit for minor forest produce at at Jamgaon (M) of Patan development block of Durg district. In this central processing unit proposed by the State Minor Medicines, Ayurvedic Medicines, Herbs, Honey, Lac, Chironji, Mahua, Bell, Tamarind, Bamboo etc. will be processed.
Cabinet has decided to give lac farming the status of agriculture and to provide short term agricultural loan and interest subsidy for lac production at par with other agricultural crops.
The draft of Chhattisgarh Agricultural Produce Market (Amendment) Bill 2020 has been approved.
The policy for procurement and custom milling of paddy and maize on the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21 was approved. Paddy will be purchased in cash and be linked from 01 December to 31 January 2021 whereas maize will be procured from 01 December to 31 May 2021.
As per the provisions of Rule 7 of the Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act 1991, Cabinet has decided to extend the exemption period for depositing monthly tax payable in advance to 31 March 2021 in lieu of the vehicles being disposable.
Cabinet has recommended the state audit In place of local fund audit under Chhattisgarh Government Finance Department, and amendments regarding the same.
The land allotted on lease to Municipal Corporation Raipur from Gol Bazar, should be allotted. The rate will be determined by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary.
Cabinet approved the Chhattisgarh State Migrant Labor Policy presented by Labor Department.
Amendment draft for Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act 1956 and Chhattisgarh Municipality Act 1961 approved.
Cabinet has decided to reduce the current premium rate of industrial plots by 50 percent to encourage employment, investment and settlements in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.
