Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today in Varanasi ‘One World T.B. attended the conference as the chief guest. On this occasion T.B. New initiative program under Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was launched and state and district level officers were given T.B. Awarded for excellent work under the Free India Campaign. Chhattisgarh’s Governor Mr. Vishwabhushan Harichandan along with governors and health ministers of all the states also joined in this program in a virtual way.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that India is making the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam fruitful. India by 2025. T.B. The amount is being transferred directly to the patients’ accounts. T.B. Modern data science is also being used for eradication. 80 percent of TB medicines are made in India only.
