Raipur. Zone commissioners have been transferred before the upcoming urban body elections in the capital. Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra has issued an order for this. According to the order, commissioners posted in zones number 3, 4, 7 and 8 of the capital have been posted in other zones. Apart from this, a suitable person has been posted as zone commissioner in zone 8.
According to the order, Zone 7 Commissioner Jasdev Babra has been given a new posting in Zone 3, Zone 8 Commissioner Arun Dhruv in Zone 4, Zone 3 Commissioner Preeti Singh in Zone 7, Zone 4 Commissioner Rakesh Sharma in Zone 10. At the same time, AK Haldar posted in the headquarters has been removed from the post of Deputy Commissioner and posted as Zone Commissioner in Zone No. 8. Apart from this, the charge of election and census has been handed over to Deputy Commissioner Krishna Khatik and the charge of birth-death, marriage registration has been handed over to Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahan.

Apart from the transfer of zone commissioners, under the administrative system, Dr. Tripti Panigrahi Health Officer has been temporarily given additional charge of NULM along with her current basic work till further orders. Whereas Deputy Commissioner Hemshankar Deshlahra has been relieved from the work of NULM. Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra has also issued an order for this.
