Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia gave best wishes

Visually impaired daughter of Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. Ishwari Nishad has qualified for the Asian Para Athletics Games to be held in Hangzhou, China from October 22. On this achievement, Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia has congratulated Kumari Ishwari Nishad and wished her a bright future. Kumari Ishwari has also been honored at the state level for her excellent sports.
Visually impaired Kumari Ishwari Nishad has won gold medals in consecutive National, International Para Athletics Championship competition. Ishwari participated in the Final Selection Para Athletics Asian Games Trial held on 25 and 26 July 2023 at Nehru Stadium New Delhi. She stood 1st in India and 5th in Asian rank in 200m race. Also, she finished second in the 400 meters race and stood seventh in the Asian rankings. Miss Ishwari Fortune has been an alumnus of Higher Secondary School for the Blind, Karmapatpar (Baghbahra). During this time he started participating in Para athletics games.
