Raipur, 19 March 2021. Revenue administration is being made easy and accessible for the convenience of the people in the state. In order to make the revenue related work of the people close to their residence, new units of revenue administration are being started. In this episode, Upathasil was inaugurated by Narayanpur MLA and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board, Mr. Chandan Kashyap at Mardapal in Kondagaon district. It is worth mentioning that in this new sub-tehsil with a population of more than 51 thousand, 45 gram panchayats and two revenue inspectors divisions Golavand and Mardapal will be included. Under this, 19 light and 78 dependent villages will also be included.
On the inauguration of the Tehsil, Mr. Chandan Kashyap said that Mardapal and the surrounding villages have been struggling with the slow pace of development due to being a hill-forest and sensitive area for many years. The villagers of the area had to come again and again to the district headquarters for their small works. Due to which they had to face problems. With the establishment of sub-tehsil office in Mardapal, now the income, caste, residence etc. certificates of villagers and the work of nomination, distribution, demarcation will be completed only through sub-tehsil. They will not need to go to the headquarters for this. Mardapala will be developed at a more rapid pace. On this occasion, President of District Panchayat Mr. Devchand Matlam, Collector Mr. Pushpendra Meena, District President Shivlal Mandavi and other public representatives and officials of the district were present.
