Big announcements by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel in the Urban Bodies and Panchayati Raj Mahasammelan, Kanker.
1. Announcement to implement the old pension in place of the new contributory pension scheme for about 10 thousand employees appointed in Chhattisgarh State Power Companies on and after April 1, 2004.
2. Announcement to increase promotion to the posts of Police Sub Inspectors from 33 percent to 40 percent.
3. Announcement of naming Agriculture College Pakhanjoor after former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi.
4. Along with teaching in local dialects like Halbi, Gondi, Sargujiha, Bhatra, announcement of appointment of teachers in these languages also.
