Aadhaar seeding process of accounts of beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana will be expedited
Secretary of Women and Child Development Department, Mrs. Shammi Abidi gave instructions to speed up the process of linking Aadhaar cards of beneficiaries.

A meeting was held through video conferencing by the Director, Directorate of Institutional Finance, Government of Chhattisgarh to expedite the process of Aadhaar seeding in the accounts of the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. In this meeting, under the joint chairmanship of Mrs. Shammi Abidi, Secretary, Women and Child Development Department, through video conferencing, the issues of linking Aadhaar card with the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana were discussed with the SLBC coordinator and member banks.
At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary, Women and Child Development, Smt. Shammi Abidi gave instructions to speed up the process of linking Aadhaar card with the accounts of the beneficiaries of Chhattisgarh Government’s ambitious scheme “Mahtari Vandan Yojana”. He directed that State Bank branches in the districts should cooperate with the district authorities to expedite the Aadhaar seeding process. He directed the SLBC Convenor to issue necessary instructions to his branches to give priority to Aadhaar seeding of accounts and complete the work on war footing. He also said that care should be taken to ensure that women do not face any kind of inconvenience.
He asked the bank branches to organize camps and call CSP/Bank Mitra with laptops to link the accounts of the beneficiaries with Aadhaar so that the process of Aadhaar seeding will become easier. He said that the bank branches located in the districts should give priority to the process of Aadhaar seeding and take it forward.
Director, Directorate of Institutional Finance, while giving instructions to expedite the Aadhaar seeding process, said that camps will soon be organized in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg districts. All member banks will be requested to take forward the process of Aadhaar seeding on priority.
It was informed in the meeting that all the bank branches in the state will assist in linking Aadhaar to the remaining accounts and issue instructions to the banks to complete the work on time. He said that bank branches will remain open even on Sundays and other holidays for Aadhaar seeding of beneficiaries.
