Raipur, 19 December 2021. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria said that the work done by Baba Guru Ghasidas ji for human welfare is exemplary. He has given instructions for the upliftment of mankind, by following the path shown by him, we can attain the highest position in life. Baba Guru Ghasidas ji did an inspirational work to remove social evils like evils, customs, untouchability, caste system etc. prevalent in the society at that time. Minister Dr. Dahria was addressing a function organized on the occasion of 265th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji at New Rajendra Nagar in the capital Raipur.
Minister Dr. Dahria said that Baba Guru Ghasidas ji worked in the direction of building a society of equality and upliftment of all. There is a need to spread his message to the masses. Dr. Dahria said that in present times the battle of life will not be fought with a sword, but with a pen, which will be accomplished through education. We all need to take the message of ‘Mankhe-Mankhe AK Barobar’ as told by Baba Guru Ghasidas ji in our lives. He said that one should work in the interest of humanity by following the path of truth. Minister Dr. Dahria offered prayers to Jaitkham and sought blessings for happiness, peace and prosperity for the progressive development of the people of the state. During this, the organizers presented Jaitkhamb mementoes to the Minister Dr. Dahriya as a symbol. Minister Dr. On this occasion, Dahria honored the people doing excellent work in the society with the annual decorations given in the name of other great men and outstanding persons including Baba Guru Ghasidas. Along with this, the students who got excellent position in the competitive examinations organized for the school students were rewarded during this period.
