Many important personalities were present in the release program

Battle Not Yet Over, an autobiography authored by the Governor of Chhattisgarh Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan was released by Shri Rituraj Awasthi, Chairman, National Law Commission and former Chief Justice of Odisha and Supreme Court Justice Shri V Gopal Goude, in New Delhi today.

Originally written in Odia, the autobiography has been translated into English by noted author and Academy Award winner Professor Bhagwan Jai Singh. Shri K Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Kendriya Sahitya Akademi, eminent writer Prof.Dr. Many dignitaries including Vijayanand Singh, media persons and dignitaries of Delhi were present.
The seminar was organized by the Indian Conference of Intellectuals .

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Harichandan said that in this autobiography, he has shared his life’s struggles and lessons learned from them. He said that this book has come out in this form with the inspiration of my relatives and well wishers. He said that he was inspired by the patriotism of his father Late Shri Parshuram Harichandan • He taught to fight against injustice. The Governor said that whatever position he held, he always worked for justice and was vocal against injustice. The book gives detailed information about his political struggles, struggle during emergency, political scenario of Odisha at that time, initiatives taken by him as minister for the welfare of the people. This seminar was addressed by Dr. Vijayanand Singh and read out the message given by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi regarding the book of Governor Shri Harichandan.
The seminar was also addressed by former Chief Justice of Odisha and Justice of the Supreme Court Shri Gopal Gavde, Chairman of the National Law Commission Shri Rituraj Awasthi, Justices of Odisha High Court Shri Vishwanath Rath, Shri Bhagwan Jai Singh, and Shri Srinivasa Rao.

Governor Shri Harichandan was also felicitated on this occasion.
