Raipur, 29 July 2021.In the chamber of the Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel released the book ‘Chandaini Gonda – A Cultural Tour’ written by Dr. Suresh Deshmukh today. He congratulated and congratulated Dr. Deshmukh for the publication of the book. On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Revenue Minister Shri Jaisingh Agrawal, Public Health and Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar and Rajgami Estate Trust Chairman Shri Vivek Wasnik and the Trust’s K. Deshmukh told that in Chhattisgarh, Dau Ramchandra Deshmukh had created an environment for the construction of the state by concocting the cultural revolution. In this book, in fact, an attempt has been made to introduce the new generation to the personality and work of Dau Ramchandra Deshmukh as a whole. It is to be noted that the ‘Chandaini Gonda Chhattisgarhi Cultural Tour’ souvenir was published on December 7, 1976, on the occasion of the 25th performance of Chandaini Gonda. Its editors were the writers of Dhamtari, Sarvshree Narayan Lal Parmar and Tribhuvan Pandey. After 45 years of publication of this souvenir, he has published the second edition in revised and enhanced form. He told that in this edition he has described the cultural journey from the Dehati Kala Vikas Mandal created by Dau Ramchandra Deshmukh to the manufacturing process of Chandaini Gonda and its immersion and creation of Kari in this book of 488 pages. is incorporated. He has also outlined his contributions by describing Dau ji and all the big and small artists and litterateurs associated with his works in this researched treatise. Along with this, a unique gift has been given to those who try to know and understand folk art, music and folk culture in Chhattisgarh. This book is not only readable but also collectible, so that in future it will serve as a reference book for the researchers of folk art.
