Farmers will get crop insurance information through Bima Rath

Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant and Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey today flagged off the insurance chariot from the residence of Agriculture Minister. This chariot will tour various districts of the state till December 15 and make farmers aware about Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme. It is noteworthy that in Rabi season year 2022, under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the fourth crop insurance week is being celebrated from December 1 to 7. Under this week, farmers will be given information about the benefits of crop insurance, as well as the process of taking crop insurance and the stories of beneficiary farmers, so that no farmer is deprived of the benefits of crop insurance, more and more farmers can be benefited. .
Significantly, the last date for availing benefits from both the insurance schemes is 15 December 2022. Through this Bima Rath, farmers will be appealed to take advantage of the crop insurance scheme by the due date. On this occasion, Additional Director Agricultural Engineering Shri G.K. Pidhiha, Additional Director Horticulture Mr. Bhupendra Pandey, Joint Director Agriculture Mr. B.K. Mishra, Deputy Director Agriculture Raipur Mr. R.K. Kashyap and the farmers were present.
