Raipur : As many as 1.31 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the state so far

Raipur, 12 August 2021. As many as one crore 31 lakh 17 thousand 523 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Chhattisgarh so far (till August 11). One crore four lakh 49 thousand 579 people of the state have received the first dose of the vaccine and 26 lakh 67 thousand 944 have received both the doses of the vaccines. In Chhattisgarh, three lakh nine thousand 539 health workers, three lakh 17 thousand 470 frontline workers, 52 lakh 78 thousand 358 people of age above 45 years and 45 lakh 44 thousand 212 citizens in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. At the same time, two lakh 46 thousand 616 health workers, two lakh 33 thousand 283 frontline workers, 18 lakh 51 thousand 021 people of age above 45 years and three lakh 37 thousand 024 people in the age group of 18 to 44 have been given both the doses of the vaccines.

In the state, 91 percent health workers, 100 percent frontline workers, 90% citizens of age above 45 years and 34% youth in the age group of 18 to 44 have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine. At the same time, 73% of the health workers, 80% of the frontline workers and 32% of the people of age above 45 years have received both the doses of the vaccines. State Government has a target of vaccinating one crore 99 lakh 32 thousand 392 people in the state. These include three lakh 39 thousand 732 health workers, two lakh 93 thousand 040 frontline workers, 58 lakh 66 thousand 599 of age above 45 years and one crore 34 lakh 33 thousand 021 citizens in the age group of 18 to 44.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, so far four lakh 64 thousand 920 vaccines have been administered in Balod district, four lakh 54 thousand 547 vaccines in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, two lakh 48 thousand 718 vaccines in Balrampur-Ramanujganj, three lakh 84 one thousand 678 vaccines in Bastar, two lakh 38 thousand 331 vaccines in Bemetara, one lakh 16 thousand 508 vaccines in Bijapur, eight lakh 19 thousand 992 vaccines in Bilaspur, one lakh 58 thousand 652 vaccines in Dantewada, four lakh 25 thousand 975 vaccines in Dhamtari , nine lakh 60 thousand 217 vaccines in Durg, two lakh 18 thousand 895 vaccines in Gariaband, One lakh 68 thousand 030 vaccines in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 6 lakh 18 thousand 421 vaccines in Janjgir-Champa and three lakh 58 thousand 906 vaccines have been administered in Jashpur.

Including both the first and the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines, three lakh 39 thousand 788 vaccine doses have been provided in Kabeerdham district, three lakh 37 thousand 079 vaccine doses have been provided in Kanker, two lakh 14 thousand 965 in Kondagaon, five lakh 73 thousand 973 in Korba, two lakh 52 thousand 771 in Koriya, six lakh 60 thousand 816 vaccine doses have been provided in Mahasamund, two lakh 60 thousand 402 vaccine doses have been provided in Mungeli, 50 thousand 077 vaccine doses have been provided in Narayanpur, 13 lakh 37 thousand 041 in Raigarh, 16 lakh 43 thousand 524 in Raipur, eight lakh 92 thousand 137 in Rajnandgaon, One lakh 52 thousand 814 in Sukma, two lakh 95 thousand 008 in Surajpur and four lakh 70 thousand 338 vaccine doses have been provided in Sarguja so far.
