Under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, All India Vedic Mahasammelan and felicitation ceremony was organized in the series of Gyan Jyoti Parv on the 200th birth anniversary of the publisher of truth Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati at the Gurukul Ashram of village Turanga in Raigarh. On this occasion, Mother Mallika Chaturbhuj, the elderly wife of the founder of Arsh Gurukul Ashram, Shri Chaturbhuj Gupta, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary, Shri Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Dr. Ramkumar Patel along with public representatives and distinguished citizens were present.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the All India Vedic Mahasammelan and felicitation ceremony, said that organizing the Sant Sammelan on the occasion of the 200th birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati is important. It is my good fortune to have got the opportunity to participate in this program. He thanked all the visitors who came to the Sant Sammelan. The Chief Minister said that in the year 1999, I became an MP for the first time. Since then, I have been getting the opportunity to work as well as visit the ashrams of Arya Samaj. Arya Samaj is continuously doing remarkable work for the education and social upliftment of people in rural and tribal areas. He urged Arya Samaj to continue public service in the same manner.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that all of you believed the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today our government has been in power for almost one and a half months. Our government has moved towards fulfilling the guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Modi ji. The result of this is that today 18 lakh PM houses have been approved in the state.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that 25th December, the birthday of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is celebrated as Good Governance Day in the entire country. On the same day, the state government also gave outstanding bonus of 2 years of paddy to more than 12 lakh farmers of the state. Working towards the economic empowerment of the farmers of the state, it is purchasing paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre. For the convenience of farmers, the date for purchasing paddy has been extended till February 4, so that those farmers who have not been able to sell paddy will also be able to sell it. This year, bumper paddy procurement has been done, which is more than the set target. Similarly, along with the purchase of tendu leaves, Charan Paduka will also be provided.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the country is becoming economically strong under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In this sequence, Lord Shri Ram was consecrated in Ayodhya on 22 January. The government will also provide darshan of Ramlala to the people of the state under ‘Ramlala Darshan Yojana’. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary also honored Mother Mallika Chaturbhuj, the elderly wife of Shri Chaturbhuj Gupta, the founder of Arsh Gurukul Ashram.
Chief Minister Shri Sai laid the foundation stone of the guest house building
On the occasion of the 200th birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai laid the foundation stone of the guest house building to be built in the premises of Arsh Gurukul Ashram, Turanga. Gurukul Ashram of this Arsh was established in the year 1992.
Children from other states are also getting education in Gurukul.
In Arsh Gurukul of village Turanga, 260 children are acquiring knowledge of Vedas along with general education, which includes about 35 children from other states including Manipur, Mizoram, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh through residential ashram along with local children.
