Administrative approval of Rs 44 crore 67 lakh 50 thousand for the lining and remodeling work of right and left bank canal of Shyam Ghunghutta Medium Project of Shyam Ghunghutta medium project of Surguja district by Ministry of Water Resources Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. Chief Engineer Hasdev Ganga Cachar, Jal Resource Department has been provided to Ambikapur. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 7200 hectare area.
