Two crore 97 lakh 97 thousand rupees have been approved by the Water Resources Department for the upgradation and renewal work of Manikchauri Vitrak canal under Kharang reservoir of Bilaspur district. Administrative approval has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdeo Cachar Bilaspur to get the work done. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 3916 hectare area.
