Administrative approval of Rs.6 crore 62 lakh 57 thousand has been given to Chief Engineer Mahanadi Kodavari Cachar Raipur for the deepening and expansion of Morid reservoir located in Patan development block of Durg district by the Ministry of Water Resources Department. With the expansion and deepening of this reservoir, additional irrigation facility will be created in 80 hectares and a total of 261 hectares will get water supply for irrigation.
