Raipur: Another name of struggle is Shaheed Shri Nandkumar Patel: Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur, 08 November 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that Shaheed Shri Nand Kumar Patel, while always active, continued to work for the upliftment and development of farmers, labourers, tribals, women and youth. Martyr Shri Nandkumar Patel was another name for the struggle. For the development of Chhattisgarh, the government of Chhattisgarh is working continuously today to realize the resolve and dream that they had for the development of all sections including farmers, tribal labourers, women and youth.

 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was addressing a public meeting organized in Mahatma Gandhi College premises after unveiling a life-size statue of Shaheed Mr. Nand Kumar Patel in front of the rest house of Kharsia, the headquarters of Raigad district, today. He said that through various schemes of the government including Godhan Nyay Yojana, Kisan Nyay Yojana, purchase of minor forest produce, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club, we are working to fulfill the vision of martyr Shri Nand Kumar Patel in the ground. continuously working for It is also our goal that by following the path shown by him, we can pay true tribute to him by making his dreams come true.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that the input subsidy given for Kharif crops including paddy under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana being run for crop diversification would be Rs 9,000 per acre and not less than that. He said that this scheme has improved the economic condition of the farmers. If the support price of paddy increases in the coming years, then farmers will get a higher price for paddy. He said that we will not rest in peace till the martyrs of Jhiram Valley get justice.

Higher Education Minister Shri Umesh Patel said that Shaheed Shri Nandkumar Patel continued to work for development works keeping in mind the future. He continued to work for the development of farmers, workers, youth, women all. He said that he always worked for education, due to which today Navodaya Vidyalaya, Eklavya Vidyalaya, Model School and Swami Atmanand School are run by these four institutions. He said that he had a dream that a university should be opened in Raigarh for the convenience of the students of Dharamjaygarh and other remote areas here. When I told this to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, he decided to open a university in Raigad in the name of Shaheed Shri Nand Kumar Patel for the convenience of college going students. For which I express my gratitude on behalf of all the students of the area. A life size statue of Shaheed Shri Nandkumar Patel was unveiled in Kharsia today. On this occasion, I pay tribute to him on behalf of all.

Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, while sharing the experience related to the work done with him on this occasion, said that since the time of undivided Madhya Pradesh, he used to speak with full force for the interests and development of Chhattisgarh and its farmers and people. Gentle and sensitive with heart and a person who fought bravely was his identity. It was his thinking to take the people of Chhattisgarh and Chhattisgarh continuously forward on the path of development, which today the government of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is working to fulfill it.

 Food Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat said that he always used to teach us that if we want to do something, then work for the sons of Chhattisgarh. With this thinking in mind, today the Government of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is continuously working for public development. Revenue Minister Shri Jaisingh Agrawal said that he was determined and had strong will power. He kept his word very firmly. He knew very well to bring his thinking to the ground, due to which he always gave new heights to the development work in Kharsia. MLA Kondagaon Shri Mohan Markam while paying tribute to him said that his leadership skills were amazing. Starting from the post of Sarpanch, becoming the Home Minister of the state shows his leadership ability and ability.
