Raipur, 26 July 2020. The Women and Child Development Department has advised Anganwadi workers to be vigilant with fake phone calls and avoid fraud. It has come to the notice of the department that fake phone calls are coming to Anganwadi workers of many districts through various means. The callers are giving various temptations. Somewhere they are asking for money by getting promotion or asking for the name of DPO or CDPO or state level officials, somewhere they are asking for the details of the account. Director of Women and Child Development Department, Smt. Divya Umesh Mishra, while advising to avoid all these phone calls, has told not to give any kind of information over the phone and not to come under temptation. He has said that the works are being executed according to government rules and procedures. Do not get into anyone’s words and immediately inform the police and your officer about such fake phone calls.
