Raipur, 15 August 2021. Today, on the occasion of Independence Day, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced the formation of 4 new districts including Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. People are cheering Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel as well as expressing their happiness by lighting fireworks at various places and congratulating each other. The residents of the four new districts say that today the Chief Minister has given them an opportunity to celebrate independence as well as celebrate the new district. Due to fulfillment of years old demand, happiness is clearly visible on the faces of the people. The people of Sarsiwan area of Balodabazar district visited Bus Stand, Saraipali Chowk, They expressed their happiness by lighting fireworks at Pendravan Chowk and congratulated each other by distributing sweets. On the announcement of making Manendragarh as a new district, Mr. Ghulam Singh Kamro, Vice-Chairman and MLA, Sarguja Development Authority, MLA Dr. Vinay Jaiswal thanked the Chief Minister and reached the Collectorate along with local public representatives and dignitaries in the name of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. The letter was handed over to Collector Shyam Dhawade.

District Panchayat Bilaigarh Vice-Chairman Raja Agrawal said that the people of Bilaigarh area used to face a lot of trouble for the district related works. The distance of Balodabazar-Bhatapara from here is more than 100 kms and due to lack of direct bus service to the district headquarters, people also face great inconvenience in commuting. The distance between Sarangarh-Bilaigarh has come down to less than 50 kms. The creation of a district will save the time and money of the people of the area. Government work will also accelerate. With the creation of a small district, development works will also get speed. As soon as the announcement of making Sarangarh-Bilaigarh a district by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, there was a wave of happiness in the entire area. People are very happy with the announcement of making Sarangarh-Bilaigarh a joint district. It is very painful and expensive for the people of Sarsiwan and Bilaigarh areas to visit the district headquarters Balodabazar. With the gift of the new district, it will now become easier to go to the district headquarters. What could be a greater convenience than this? Farmer Jhagendra Sahu of village Chakarda said that with the formation of the new district, many facilities would be easily available to the general public. The people of the area will be able to come back from their work to the district headquarters in a single day. There will be better monitoring of government works and tightening of administrative work. The access of the general public will be easily accessible to the government.
The President of Sarsiwan Traders Association, Mr. Manish Agarwal said that people of all sections would be benefitted by the formation of small districts. Traders close their business and go for district related work and if work is not done due to any reason then both time and money is wasted. The formation of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district will also benefit the traders. State Vice President of Kesharwani Samaj Shri Shivratri Kesarwani said that the formation of a small district will benefit all the people, especially the poor and farmers. The people of the society will get the direct benefit of making Sarangarh-Bilaigarh a district. With the formation of a new district, more employment opportunities will be available to the youth. Govardhan Sahu, a progressive farmer of village Hardi, said that the last village of Baloda Bazar district is Hardi Gharjara. The distance of Balodabazar from here is about 125 kms. There is no direct transport facility from here to Balodabazar, so people have to face difficulties in commuting to the district headquarters. Now the distance of Sarangarh from here is just 25 kms. People will also be able to move easily to the district headquarters by their personal means.
