Selected team of students from Chhattisgarh leave for Anand-Gujarat

The team will be on a 5-day tour of Gujarat under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program

Raipur, 25 July 2022,  A total of 54 participants, including 50 students and four associate teachers from Chhattisgarh state, have left for Anand Gujarat on July 24, 2022 at 4.05 am, under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program. This team of students and teachers left from Durg in the entire Gandhidham superfast train. This team will be on a 5-day tour of Gujarat state. Under the program there, different programs will be organized every day. Institute of Rural Management Anand in Gujarat will host the students of Chhattisgarh state.
It is worth mentioning that Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program is a program run by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development to promote national integration in India. Under the program, all the states and union territories of India have been matrixed with each other. The shared state of Chhattisgarh state is the state of Gujarat. Under this, out of 50 students included in the team, 25 students are selected from the School Education Department and 25 students from the Higher Education Department. The team will return by train on 30 July 2022 and reach Durg station at 10.30 pm. In the said program, 4 students from Raipur, Durg, Kanker and Balod and 3 students from Bemetara, 3 students from Kendriya Vidyalayas and 3 students from Navodaya Vidyalaya are selected from the School Education Department.
Along with the said team, the teacher of CSC Government Pre-Secondary School, Mathpara Raipur, Shri Vikram Kumar Tyagi and teacher PG Umathe, Girls’ Pre-Secondary School, Shanti Nagar Raipur Smt. Managing Director Samagra Shiksha Shri Narendra Kumar Dugga has congratulated the team for a successful trip. Program in-charge Assistant Director, Samagra Shiksha Shri Ajay Pillai, Assistant Program Officer, Samagra Shiksha State Project Office Smt. Neelam Kushwaha helped in making the tour a reality.
