Raipur: American Association of Physicians India Origin gave medical equipment worth Rs 75 lakh to Chhattisgarh

American Association of Physicians India Origin (AAPI) has provided six nos. of ‘Allied Meditech Vista Intensive Care Ventilator with Compressor’ worth Rs.75 lakhs to Chhattisgarh. The association has given these machines to the state under its Kovid relief programme. These ventilators will be installed in the district hospitals of Rajnandgaon and Gariaband and the Urban Community Health Center at Gudhiyari, Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has thanked the American Association of Physicians India Origin for this cooperation. Expressing gratitude to the President of the Association, Dr. Ravi Kolli, former President Dr. Anupama Gotimukula and the President of the Kovid Relief Committee, Dr. Sujit Punnam, he said that these devices would help in the treatment of serious patients of Kovid-19 in the state. The Chief Minister has also thanked the President of Chhattisgarh NRI Nacha, Shri Ganesh Kar, for the coordination between the Health Department and AAPI, for whose initiative the state has got these equipments. It is noteworthy that the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) has more than 80 thousand doctors practicing in the United States of America. This association is working since 1982.
