Raipur, 16 September 2021. According to the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, students in the state will now be able to take advantage of vocational courses along with school education. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will launch employment oriented education courses in government higher secondary schools from Patan tomorrow on 17th September. The job oriented education curriculum is jointly prepared by the Department of School Education and ITI. Students of higher secondary classes will be able to choose employment oriented education courses as the fifth subject along with getting education in main subjects. Welder trade for students and Hindi stenography for girl students has been prescribed. Welder Trade and Stenography Hindi will be of two years duration. Which the students will complete while getting the education of 11th and 12th.
It is worth mentioning here that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has the intention that the students should also get job oriented vocational education during higher secondary education so that they can get employment easily. As per the intention of the Chief Minister, the School Education Department and ITI together are starting employment oriented courses from Patan tomorrow. The Chief Minister will make its virtual launch on September 17 at 11 am. This is a very big and big change step. The students of class 12th, who pass the core subjects as well as the employment oriented education course, will be given a certificate by the Board of Secondary Education, so that they can take admission in higher education. 12th passed students will also get ITI certificate. So that they can get employment. Both the courses will run concurrently. Tomorrow, Stenography course for girls and welding for boys is being started in Patan.
