Collector and SP inspected new road construction and repair works

As per the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, construction of new roads and repair of dilapidated roads is going on in full swing in Mungeli district. Collector Shri Rahul Dev himself is inspecting the field for the repair of roads. At the same time, a committee has also been constituted for the construction, improvement and repair of roads.
During the inspection, the Collector said that all the roads in the district would be repaired. An action plan is being prepared for this, for which district level committee has also been constituted. He informed that more than Rs 35 crore has been sanctioned by the government for the renovation and upgradation of 52 roads in the district. On the other hand, an amount of more than Rs.06 crore has been approved for Lormi-Kodwamanhat road.
Collector Shri Dev along with Superintendent of Police Shri Chandramohan Singh today inspected the new road construction and repair works being done by Public Works Department, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna and ADB under Lormi development block and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers. He did the repair work of Mungeli-Lormi road by the Public Works Department, Inspected the Lormi-Kodwamahant road road under construction by PMGSY and Lormi-Jarhagaon road under construction by ADB. During this, he clearly directed the officers that the quality of road construction and repair work would not be compromised in any way. The Collector directed to complete the construction and repair work at the earliest with excellent quality. He also inquired about the cases of land acquisition on the Lormi-Jarhagaon road and also got the measurement of the land acquired for the construction of the road of farmer Shri Laxman Prasad done in village Vicharpur on the spot. It is noteworthy that administrative approval of Rs 93.53 crore has been received for Lormi-Jarhagaon road.
